Katrina Plays is a multi-media docu-play, the last play written by the award winning playwright, Judi-Ann Mason before
her death, to be published by Sam French. The play tells the true stories of Hurricane Katrina victims
from first hand descriptions told to BJ Mason, Judi Ann's brother, who died while helping victims relocate. This play
is dedicated to all of those who were lost 4 years ago and to all of those who are still struggling to survive today.

play the part of "Baby Mama Drama", a Hurricane Katrina Survivor.

Deceaseport is a theatrical play about a young woman raped and murdered by two men. She arrives
at a holding area, called the Deceaseport, where she encounters four spirits rotting between heaven and hell. She soon
realizes that if she doesn't avenge her own death that she will face a similar fate. All the while, the spirits are using
her knowing that if they help her complete her task they will be able to move on to a more pleasant eternity, or
so they think.
My character's name is "Leem", a rotting spirit!

After having a brief encounter with my character, Cheryl soon realizes the grave reality of her
situation. She understands that if she doesn't make a decision soon it will have already been made for her.
